Recommended every six months, they’re a great way to let us know about any changes in your health or physical condition that might impact your oral health. They also give us the opportunity to examine your gums, teeth and insides of your mouth to screen for cancer, check your bite and perform preventive services, such as the removal of plaque, tartar and stains, the application of fluoride and more.
We’ll also polish your teeth to make them look and feel clean and sparkling.
Periodically, your bi-annual exams might include X-rays of your mouth. This allows Dr. Bolamperti to see with greater detail to detect any problems that need to be addressed – before you have symptoms and before they’re visible to the naked eye.
